Adventures of an Aide-de-Camp follow the exploits of Lieutenant Claude Dundas, personal assistant to Sir John Stewart, of his Britannic Majesty's 62nd Regiment, in their campaign against Napoleon's forces in Calabria. It tells the story of Neapolitan campaign, an expedition set on foot to force the French out from South Italy, depicting romantic adventures of young aide-de-camp all the way to the siege of Scylla and the affair of matchless bravery between struggling British and the besieging French.

James Grant (1822-1887) was a Scottish novelist and miscellaneous writer. He was a prolific author, writing some 90 books. Titles included The Romance of War, Adventures of an Aide-de-Camp, The Scottish Musketeers and The Scottish Cavalier. Many of his novels are about important characters and events in Scottish history. He also wrote about Scottish heroes and heroines caught in some of the most important battles across Europe.

Wenn Sie ein E-Book, das Adobe® Digital Editions benötigt herunterladen, erhalten Sie eine ASCM-Datei, die zu Digital Editions hinzugefügt und mit Ihrem Account verknüpft werden muss. Einige E-Book Reader (zum Beispiel PocketBook Touch) unterstützen auch das direkte Eingeben der Login-Daten des Adobe Accounts – somit können diese ASCM-Dateien direkt auf das betreffende Gerät kopiert werden.
Da E-Books nur für eine begrenzte Zeit – in der Regel 6 Monate – herunterladbar sind, sollten Sie stets eine Sicherheitskopie auf einem Dauerspeicher (Festplatte, USB-Stick oder CD) vorsehen. Auch ist die Menge der Downloads auf maximal 5 begrenzt.
