Beschreibung
Charlie's experiences at the Battle of Kohima and the months he spent lost in the remote jungles of Nagaland during the Second World War are now history. Settled on a farm in Norfolk with his wife Claire, he is one of the lucky survivors. But the foundations of his tentatively laid new life are threatened by the floods of memory; and on misty mornings working in the fields, Charlie finds himself transported back to the final, dark chapters of the nightmare of war to which he bore witness.
